On July 22 Scott and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary! Sometimes I can't believe I have been married that long, or that I now have two children... Two amazing, beautiful children!!! I just love my husband even more than the day we got married and just can't believe what a lucky girl I am to have found someone so perfect for me!
It was a nice day and we had planned on going to see Phantom of the Opera, but my friends who were going to help us get discount tickets, couldn't help us out until Saturday, which was totally fine, and so I was planning on waiting. Well scott decided that since he was going to be Downtown at the Venetian Anyway he would get tickets half price that morning! I was Soooo excited about it! It was fun to get a little more dressed up than usual and to have a nice, romantic evening with my hubs:)
On the way to see it, Scott was telling me that it cost 55 million, yes you read that right, 55 million dollars to build the theater for Phantom! He was saying that he heard it was pretty amazing inside. We walked into the theater and I was expecting something more... But still thought it was cool. Scott had managed to get us AMAZING seats! Having been to a bunch of broadway shows, I have never had such awesome seats at one before so I was just on cloud nine:) When the show started it was just totally unbelievable how they were able to transform the theater the way they did. Sitting there in the middle of it all was just awe inspiring. I was ready to cry from the very beginning! Music brings out a very emotional tick in me:) When I think of how incredible every note is, that someone was that brilliant to write and compose it, that there are people talented enough to play it, sing it and dance to it.... how can it not bring tears to someone's eyes? Cheesy I know:) But I really do feel that way. Music never ceases to amaze me! Anyway, words cannot describe my experience accurately, but if you ever have a chance to see Phantom in Las Vegas... It is well worth it! They use the 55 million dollar theater to the max. It is a 55 Million dollar show! Amazing!
So sadly we did not get a great picture of us at the theater:( We only had our iphones.... But I have a random, stupid picture of me... at home. Lame.
